    There's somone complaining about the wax. Ignore that person. I have a very difficult beard and ther extra hold beard balm works beautifully.

    Don't get it?

    Opened the can and liked the smell, but expected something more aromatic. The balm itself was very hard which I found most difficult to extract and use.

    Thanks for giving our Heavy Hold Beard Balm a try and for sharing your feedback. The Heavy Hold formula is a funtional product and intentionally much firmer than our Original Balm. The extra beeswax and additional lanolin content is what gives it the strength to tame unruly beards and hold shape throughout the day. Because of that, it does require a bit more effort to use: we recommend scraping a small amount with the back of your thumbnail and warming it between your palms before applying.

    It sounds like you’re looking for something softer, like our Original Beard Balm which may be a better fit. It has a creamier texture that’s easier to scoop while still offering great conditioning benefits.

    It ain't heavy, It's my balm

    I must admit when I opened the container, I didn't know if I liked the smell. I wanted something that worked unlike a couple of other balms from another company. I tried it today and it certainly holds better although, again the Cedar/Mint combination just wasn't what I had hoped for in fragrances. However, throughout the day the smell lessened and wasn't a factor anymore. I think I should have ordered the unscented. Obviously, fragrance is a personal thing. that's why I gave it a 4 instead of 5.
    One other point about the container. It lifts off instead of screwing the lid on. Point, it could come off easily when you don't want it to.
